From Success to Significance
Ron Patarello’s career has always centered around helping other people. At the age of 23, he became a registered nurse, who over the course of his career, gained specific experience in mental health counseling. And while Ron was perfectly successful in his job as a nurse, he looked to add significance into his career.
For the last 13 years of his career, he worked in the mental health department of the Orange County jail, specializing in substance abuse recovery. In 2011, Ron retired, and started Accountability Brothers, a non-profit aimed to aid the difficult reentry process that incarcerated men experience after prison. Ron used his connections as a licensed minister with the Evangelical Christian Fellowship to bridge the two institutions, and coin his mission for Accountability Brothers: “Emptying Jails, Filling Churches, One Man at a Time.” For more information, visit accountabilitybrothers.net
