Who We Are.
The Story of Accountability Brothers
Accountability Brothers started in 2011 when Ron Patarello responded to the call to: "Find a need and fill it!"
Ron had worked with incarcerated men and saw that there was help while inmates were in jail; however, follow up services were difficult to access and did not address the spiritual and human problems associated with men that break the law.
He envisioned a support process that addressed the needs of the total man - spirit, soul, and body.
Ron knew he was uniquely qualified for this vision and prayed: Use me Lord! Make me an instrument to empty jails and fill churches! Men then started presenting themselves stating: "I am sick of the misery of my life!" With this, Accountability Brothers was born!
Accountability Brothers has one purpose: To keep men out of jail.
Men are met with acceptance, affirmation, and accountability. Support is individualized and encompasses moral and income development to provide a means of self sufficiency.
Its outreach is to the total man. Then also, to family and friends that have been injured by their behavior. The goal is personal peace and reconciliation with an objective to operate in God's personal calling for their life. Then, they can take their rightful and productive place within their family and community.
Certainly a tall order to fill, but "With God, all things are possible!"
Ron Patarello is a licensed minister with the Evangelical Christian Fellowship, which he adds to his experience as a mentor and mediator.
